I'm Lorena, a South Texas artist creating paintings, ceramics, and one-of-a-kind artwork inspired by the landscapes, animals, and natural beauty that surround me. My work is rooted in a love for Creation, the places I call home, and the beauty found in the handmade process.
I paint on feed bags and use materials familiar to ranchers and farmers. This is to explore the connection between working life, agriculture, and fine art. My first painting, 'After the Feed' , No. 1, begins a series inspired by the history, purpose, and stories carried by these everyday objects.
